NATA 2019 EXAM DATES, APPLICATION FORM, ELIGIBILITY, EXAM PATTERN, SYLLABUS

The governing body of Architect in India and the conducting body of NATA decides to conduct NATA exam twice from the year 2019. NATA exams will be held once in the month of April and in the month of July the second time. NATA 2019 question paper consists of two parts – Part A includes multiple choice questions (online mode) and Part B is drawing-based (Offline mode), to be answered on A4 size sheets. As there has been a change in the eligibility criteria diploma candidates won’t be eligible to appear for NATA 2019 as passing in 10+2 exams with Physics, chemistry and mathematics is mandate.

The application form of NATA 2019 for April will be available around the 3rd week of January and results of NATA Entrance Exam 2019 will be out in the form of score cards around the 1st week of June. The candidate has to score minimum 25 5 marks in the Part A and drawing section, and score more than or equal to than overall qualifying marks to be qualified in NATA. Once you qualify NATA exam, you will be eligible for admissions in any recognized Architectural Institutions in the country.

Eligibility criteria of NATA 2019:

The eligibility criteria for NATA 2019 include the list of conditions that one must satisfy to apply for the NATA exam for admissions in B.Arch. course. The candidate who doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria of NATA 2018 won’t be considered for the admission even if he/she qualifies in the NATA exam. It is recommended that all the candidates applying for NATA 2019 meet the eligibility criteria before filling in the application.

NATA 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should have either passed/appearing in 10+2
  • The minimum score by the candidate should be minimum 50% marks in aggregate in subjects like Physics, mathematics and chemistry.
  • The age limit of the candidate must be minimum of 17 years of age as on July 31, 2019

NATA 2019 Exam Pattern:

It is always important to know the exam pattern when preparing for any national-level exam. The NATA 2019 exam pattern includes the types of questions asked, marking scheme, and the mode of the exam.

Candidates will appear in one NATA paper consisting of two parts: Part A and part B. The type of questions asked and the mode of exam differ for each part.

It was during this period that the wave of integrated fenders, fully closed bodies, new saloon, sedan body style incorporating a trunk or a boot in front or rear of the car started appearing on the roads.

NATA Exam Pattern:

PART A: Part A of NATA exam includes multiple choice questions that need to be answered online. Mostly, questions from mathematics and General Aptitude sections, 60 questions each.

PART B: Part B of NATA exam is drawing-based only and should be answered offline on A4 size sheets.

Marking: Objective type questions carry 2 marks each. The two questions in Part B carry 40 marks each.

Duration of the NATA exam will be 90 minutes for each part, with total duration of 180 minutes (3 hours).

All candidates are requested to follow the NATA syllabus released by Council of Architecture for the exam preparation. The NATA 2019 syllabus comprises of Part A and Part B topics.
